Panthers, Demons bowl in MP

MT. PLEASANT — Both the Mt. Pleasant and Washington bowling teams were at the Iris Bowling Center on Thursday for a tringular with West Central. West Central won both the boys and girls contests.

In the boys standings, West Central scored a 2,518 to edge Mt. Pleasant. The Panthers ended up with a total pinfall of 2,451, and Washington finished at 1,841. In the girls standings, West Central took a tight one, winning with a total pinfall of 2,059. Washington scored 1,986 and Mt. Pleasant ended at 1,947.

The Mt. Pleasant boys were led by a trifecta of bowlings over 300. Ethan Oilar bowled a 192 and a 189 to end the day at 381. Levi Mills went 145 and 221 to finish the day at 366, and Levi Svoboda rolled a 181 anda 149 to end at 330.

Tyler Fitzpatrick rolled a 100 and a 176 to score 276. Nolan Myers went 119 and 136 for a 255, and Cadenn Vaughn rolled a 141 and 99 to finish at 240.

The Mt. Pleasant boys’ baker games went 179, 178, 158, 174 and 155.

The Washington boys receieved a huge performance from Ethan Zieglowsky. He rolled 179 and 260 to finish at 439. Drake Schluetter rolled a 201 and a 138 to finish at 341.

Liam Eldridge was the third Demon over 200, going 121 and 123 to finish at 244. Aidan Miller rolled a 67 and a 112 to end the day at 179, and Zakkary Hesseltine finished the day with 16, rolling a 15 and a 1.

Baker games for the Washington boys went 144, 149, 101, 116 and 112.

Washington’s girls team was paced by Taylor Janecek, who rolled a 142 and a 137 for a total pinfall of 279. Taylor Northup rolled 106 and 156 to finish at 262.

Dawsen Schluetter rolled a 113 and a 137 for a total pinfall of 250. Rylie Swart was right behind her, rolling a 144 and a 104 for a final score of 248. Leigha Heisdorffer bowled a 114 and a 108 to end the day at 222.

The Washington girls’ baker games went 154, 120, 135, 168 and 148.

The Mt. Pleasant girls team had two players eclipse 300. Alexis Wohlleber led the team with a 303, rolling a 168 and a 135, and Gillian Anderson put up 112 and 188 to score an even 300.

Alouny Phosy rolled a 167 and a 112 to finish her round at 279. Megan Smith rolled a 111 and a 144 to end at 255. Danielle Muhs rolled a 133 and an 86 to score 219, and Eden Svoboda rolled 106 and 89 for a final score of 195.

Baker games for the Panther girls went 134, 107, 121, 130 and 99.
