WILLIAMSBURG — Mid-Prairie saw its volleyball season come to a close Monday night with a loss in the postseason.

The Golden Hawks end the year with a 9-16 record. Williamsburg has a 19-15 record and advances to play Solon in a Class 3A semifinal.

Mid-Prairie lost in straight sets, 25-9, 25-20, 25-12.

Landry Pacha put up 12 assists for Mid-Prairie and Tori Boyse put down six kills, Myah Lugar four and Phelan Hostetler three. Hostetler landed the only ace for Mid-Prairie.

Defensively up front, Boyse blocked four attacks, Pacha two and Ella Groenewold one. The back row defense saw Page Peiffer get 10 digs and Maddie Edgington seven. Karson Jehle, Amber Swart and Boyse contributed five digs apiece.
