OTTUMWA — The Fairfield bowling teams split with Davis County at Champion Bowl in Ottumwa on Monday. The Trojan girls topped the Mustaings 2,167-2,060, and the Fairfield boys lost 2,639-2,409.
The Trojan girls were paced by Karen Ehret’s 324, which led all girls bowlers. Lilly Huff rolled a 308, and McKayla Taylor finished at 306.
Hope Brammer rolled a 291 for Fairfield’s fourth scorer. Airianna Taylor finished at 252, and Bailey Hird rolled a 240.
The Fairfield girls were outscored in the baker games, falling 705-686, but the Trojans had plenty enough in the invididual scores to pull out a win.
Chance Swan led all bowlers in the boys meet, rolling a 414. Swan eclipsed 200 in both of his games, rolling a 207 in both. Wyatt aker was the only other Trojan boy above 300, with a 342.
Gannon Scott finished the meet with a 280. Drake Drish rolled a 270. Chris Kyle finished at 260, and Kane Hook rounded out the Fairfield bowlers with a 242.
The Trojan boys lost the baker games 2,639-2,409.
