Sacha Club meets at Ainsworth Community Church

The Sacha Club of Ainsworth met on Monday, Feb. 24, 2025 at 6 p.m. at the Ainsworth Community Church Fellowship hall. There were ten members in attendance and they answered roll call by telling their favorite board type game.
Old Business: Sacha Club hosted an Impact Life Blood Drive on Tuesday, February 4 at the Ainsworth Community Church. Twenty-eight total donations were gathered. Linda McNeil, Ann Freyenberger and Rocky Roberts helped check people in and prepared and served ham sandwiches, along with cookies.
Ainsworth Town Hall outdoor bulletin board has been tabled until next month.
New Business: Highland Post Prom had requested a donation. Ann Freyenberger made a motion to approve this and it was seconded by Karen Megchelsen.
The club will be preparing for Highland graduation by accepting their annual scholarship applications. Brenda Bean will be placing applications at the high school.
The club's annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place at Marr Park on Saturday, April 19 at 9:30 a.m.
Tonight's program was learning some history about "minute to win it games". The group then split into teams and played some "minute to win it games" which were enjoyed by all.
The meeting adjourned with the Club Collect.
Kathy Bean treated everyone to a wonderful "Butterless, Eggless, Milkless cake with cream cheese icing.
The next meeting will be Monday, March 24 at 6 p.m. at the Ainsworth Community Church Fellowship Hall.
Rachel Carstesen will have the program and the club will be filling Easter Eggs for the Marr Park Egg Hunt.
Those attending were Linda Lord, Jennie Gerot, Karen Magchelen, Linda McNeil, Brenda Bean, Rachel Carstesen, Emily Pratt, Jeanna Gerot, Ann Freyenberger and Kathy Bean.
SOUP SUPPER
The United Church of Crawfordsville will hold a Soup Supper, Saturday, March 15, 2025. from 4:30-7 p.m. They will be offering Chili, Oyster and Potato Soup and desserts.
News from Crooked Creek Christian Creek : They are helping to make your Easter dinner easier this year by offering 12 or 24 count pans of ham balls and 9X13 pans of party potatoes. They will prepare and freeze the casseroles, all you need to do is pick them up and bake them.
