Tyler James Webster, 33, was found guilty of murder in the second-degree by a jury of his peers Tuesday night in the Jefferson County Courthouse.The jury returned its verdict shortly after 6 p.m. Tuesday after deliberating for about five hours. The Fairfield Public Library is hosting a series of talks by local authors this week. Monday was the first day of the five-day series, which began with authors sharing their poetry. The event is the First Inaugural Local Authors Exhibition and continues at 7 p.m. today, Wednesday, Thursday and then at 1 p.m. Saturday. Viktor Tichy was among those sharing their poetry Monday.
